An example would have helped. Say your target AA is 40% US, 20% Intl 40% Fixed, and you have $200 to put in. Do you?

a) Allocate at your target IPS AA
US - $80
Intl - $40
Fixed - $80

b) Take into account your current AA (based on market drift basically) and mathematically allocate, so if bonds are way down, maybe all $200 goes there to bring it closer to the target of 40%.
