Chatgpt app causing windows shutdown and making ssd slow?

I have been using the native app to code on my windows pc and sometimes it would crash and cause a restart. After the restart, the ssd is always at 100% activity and super slow. The chatgpt app doesn't work because of this registry thing. I tried uninstalling and reinstall but it says its not compatible with the operating system. The only way to fix it is to do a pc reset. After couple more days, it happens again. Anyone have similar issues? I been using codex in vscode prior to the app and this has never happen.
