Opus 5.5 intentionally inserting Anthropic dependencies into codebases. Has anyone else had this happen?

preview.redd.it/o77mdn7yitth1.png Since switching the new Opus 5.5 model I've noticed Claude keeps inserting API dependencies into all of my new projects. I've started roughly 5 projects in the past week and in all of them the above screenshot has shown up in my README.md , and a small code snippet I do not have any API keys installed on my computer, I never asked Claude to use the API, and no the API was not a valid solution to any of my problems. For context, the above screenshot was from a small project to automatically browse the internet and log the price of PC parts as I'm saving up for a new PC. Has anyone else found Claude doing this? Do we know which models are doing this, is it specifically the 5.5 generation? I do find it very interesting that Claude is automatically adding code for a paid service, which it has conflicting affiliations with to projects. And as far as I'm aware this has not been communicated very well or at all from Anthropic. Very interested in people's thoughts on this. If someone has already made a post related to this topic just let me know. I am quite busy, but I'll try my best to reply to people where possible.
