T Mobile Passpoint

Is this an abandoned feature? Every time I go to my local grocery store it connects and all internet activity dies. Doesn't matter the application, reddit, spotify, google search, kroger, home depot. None work. I've disabled Passpoint in my settings but I'm just curious if someone forgot to take this down if it's been deprecated. There's sparingly few posts online about it. Running a Samsung Z Fold 6.
