Here is the White Sox lineup for Game 1 vs. Houston

The Chicago White Sox have set their lineup for Game 1 of the Wild Card Series against the Houston Astros.

The White Sox, appearing in their first postseason game since 2021, will aim to get off to a hot start in Houston on Tuesday afternoon, with first pitch set for 4 p.m.

The White Sox will send Hagen Smith to the hill for the first game of the series. Smith appeared in 18 games for the White Sox this season, with a 3-3 record and a 1.29 ERA in those appearances, including one start. He struck out 41 batters in 28 innings of work.

The Astros meanwhile will go with an opener for the game, as they will send right-handed reliever AJ Blubaugh to the mound. Their ace Hunter Brown will start in Game 2 of the series, according to the club.
