On Stage With the Emo Kids

The Emo Kids are the world’s greatest Emo party band. Every concert, they call an audience member on stage. When I was purchasing tickets for their recent concert in Leesburg, they gave attendees a chance to explain why they should get to sing with the band. I must have made a strong case, because they called me and my daughter up on stage to perform My Chemical Romance’s “I’m Not OK.” Here we are, with her friend Violet, alongside the band.
