Trying to host a physical event on Luma and the algorithm stops the event from showing(I will not promote)

I don’t know if you have similar problems. We are a boostrapping startup, try to grow grassroots as long as possible. We set a physical event, and want to show up and engage our potential users. We posted an event on Luma, several friends we know, invited and registered and are coming. But if you just scroll Luma, you do not see the event (public) is labeled on the map nor local Luma event calendar. Is that normal? I know luma try to avoid spamming. We have been many Luma events and try to host for the first time. Any idea how should we solve this issue? Any event organizing tips will be appreciated. Thanks.
