I will not promote - Has anyone been in this situation?

Wife is a co-founder of a start up. She is pregnant. Her co founders are trying to go to Ycombinator. Here is the issue: it will most likely be right after she gives birth. What we are trying to figure out is the logistics. The start up is pre revenue, no funding YET. It is also a side hustle currently. There are 5 founders, 3 of whom have done ycombinator previously and had a successful exit from other start ups. My wife and 1 other are doing this for the first time. Challenges include: Timeline with her giving birth We do not live in the state ycombinator is in Salary - I do not forsee us having the funds to fully survive my paternity leave and her maternity leave as it is (i am planning on trying to push our mortgage payments back for a few months) Her plan was i would come with and take care of the baby during my paternity leave. My response was that I never expected id have to take care of a new born by myself esp if she will be in intense workload during this time frame and I also was counting on my parents helping me out during this time. My job is also a physical job so I wouldn't be able to just pack up and work from another state while she does this Has anyone ever gone through something like this?
