i will not promote: We build software for businesses that have outgrown their spreadsheets. Here's what that actually looks like.

I’m Kartik, founder of a product and software studio. I’m not here to promote the company, but I wanted to share something I've noticed while working with startups and businesses. A lot of businesses don't actually have a "website problem." They have a systems problem . A typical business might have: Leads coming through a website Customer information sitting in spreadsheets Follow-ups happening through email or WhatsApp Documents scattered across different tools Employees manually moving information between systems Reporting being done manually Different people following completely different processes Then someone says: "We need a new website." But rebuilding the website doesn't necessarily solve the underlying problem. We've found it much more useful to start by mapping the actual workflow: Customer → Lead → Sales → Operations → Delivery → Reporting Then determine what should be automated, integrated, custom-built, or simply left alone. This approach has led us to build everything from websites and e-commerce stores to internal dashboards, mobile apps, custom business systems and AI-powered workflows. One of the biggest lessons I've learned: Don't start by asking what software you should build. Start by asking where the business is losing time, money or information. Curious what other founders have experienced. What's one process in your company that is still unnecessarily manual?
