Self-published and crowdfunded, The NoGood Book brings together five years of work. It collects illustration projects and process snapshots from an independent practice, while tracing the convictions behind it. Taken together, it’s a book about curiosity, stubbornness, and carving out a space of your own.
NoGood was never a carefully considered plan. It happened naturally, the result of a decade spent finding a way to make meaningful work, rooted in the philosophy of the open web and open-source software. Self-publishing felt like the natural next step. A tool in a toolbox, similar to a personal website, podcasting, Bitcoin, and VPNs; permissionless, grassroots, and owned by none other than the person using them.
Across 272 pages, the book charts NoGood's origins, documents the process behind the work, and gathers influential essays by writers and thinkers whose work has shaped it—among them Cory Doctorow, Douglas Rushkoff, Joan Westenberg, and others.
Released in 2026 in an edtion of 400. The NoGood Book is only available to purchase at nogood.studio
