Mediocre replies to OBC have been converted to low quality answers. How to deal with it?

I witnessed the migration of a open-ended question and its replies to a question and answer for the first time: I made this item stock management system i want you guys to critique this and tell me how can i get better

The question was unclear and too broad from the start. What is now "answers" aren't actually answers. My answer got downvoted. Rightly so, I had never posted this as an answer. However, the -2 rep was the only reason I am aware of the reply being turned to an answer.

I find it unfortunate that I am not in control of my answers. I want to post quality answers (at least I strive for that). I don't want low quality answers of mine popping up without noticing it.

There is no notification that my reply got transformed into an answer and I am not sure that would be a good idea.

How to deal with this?

My best idea so far is: Wait until migration is complete, then search all my posts with the new tags and do some clean up. Are there better ways?
