Phantasm was so amazing. Horror built solidly on nightmare logic. I can’t offhand think of another movie that did the disjointed dream so well. Even things that make no sense in the real world hang together in Phantasm because you go, “Yes that is what would happen in a nightmare.”

Great film and Reggie Bannister & Angus Scrimm are the two towers that hold it together.
