The mass exodus seems to have petered out; what's your experience with the 'remainder'?

After decline-and-decline, it seems the number of questions & answers per month has plateaued , at around 2400 questions, and 3800 answers, per month roughly (about 1% of the rate in 2014); chart (starting in 2025) below. Some more SEDE digging could probably yield insights.

What are your subjective impressions of the question-asking public these past several months?

Some example thoughts/speculations:

  • Are 'newbie' questions a lot less common?
  • Is the fraction of "chain-askers" high?
  • How many of the questions would you say are by site veterans/high-rep users?
  • Has the rate of poor questions (which merit closure/deletion) changed relative to years past?
  • Are question posters more, or less, polite and respectful in interaction with answerers and commenters?
