Should we remove the [equals] tag from C# questions just because question is about C# and not about Java?

I observed an edit here. The equals is removed. From its Wiki, it seems this tag is only related to Java language.

But this method with same (or almost similar) context and meaning and usage and intent also present in C#. I am not sure but it may also present in other languages.

Should we remove the equals tag from C# questions just because question is about C# and not about Java?
Instead, should we edit the Wiki to make the scope of tag larger?
Anything else?
