The election

Procedurally it seems to have gone just fine, and the people predicting “the end of democracy in America” now look foolish. They have been suffering under fundamental misunderstandings of how this country works. During this election cycle, democracy never was under threat and the United States has not been under risk of fascism.

Tariffs

Corruption

War with Iran

Wealth taxes (losing in CA)

Gerrymandering (came back to hurt Republicans, given the Blue wave)
