Terms of Service

1. Platform Overview & Content Moderation

SunProt Modules is an open community registry where independent developers and platform administrators publish and share software modules, scripts, and dynamic library patches (.so files).

Enrique Brach operates the platform infrastructure. SunProt Modules does not continuously monitor, pre-screen, or systematically audit every third-party uploaded module.

Platform administration reserves the absolute right (but assumes no legal duty) to: inspect, moderate, edit listing metadata, fix description errors, flag, unpublish, or permanently delete any module or account at its sole discretion; and restrict or remove modules that pose security risks, contain unauthorized code, or violate these terms.

2. Content Disclaimer

Third-Party Modules: Modules uploaded by community users are created and distributed solely by their respective authors. Enrique Brach does not endorse, guarantee, or assume legal liability for third-party uploads.

First-Party Modules: Modules published directly by Enrique Brach / SunProt are provided under open community terms "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

3. User Assumption of Risk & Game EULA Compliance

By downloading, patching, or executing any module or .so file obtained from this platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You execute modules entirely at your own risk.
• SunProt Modules is not liable for any device damage, data loss, operating system failure (soft-brick/hard-brick), or third-party account actions (including game bans or suspensions).
• You are solely responsible for verifying that any module you download or upload complies with applicable third-party Terms of Service, End User License Agreements (EULAs), and local laws.

4. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Enrique Brach and SunProt Modules from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or legal fees arising out of or related to: any module, patch, or content you upload; your violation of these Terms; or your infringement of any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.

5. User Content & License Grant

By uploading any module, patch (.so), script, or text to SunProt Modules:

• You warrant that you own the rights to the content or possess valid authorization to distribute it.
• You grant Enrique Brach and SunProt Modules a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, store, display, cache, distribute, and process uploaded content.
• You acknowledge that module download links may be routed through ad-supported redirection services (such as shortxlinks.com) by platform administration.
• You retain ownership of your original code, but acknowledge that publicly published files may be downloaded by platform users.
• Images: The warranty above applies equally to profile pictures, module icons, and any image embedded or linked in descriptions and comments. You must not upload or link images, logos, characters, screenshots, or artwork unless you own them, hold a license that permits redistribution, or they are in the public domain. Images that include third-party trademarks or copyrighted characters are your sole responsibility.
• Image limits: A module icon is locked once the module is published with one. Profile pictures may be changed once every 7 days. These limits protect storage resources and do not transfer any responsibility for image content to the platform.
• Images linked from external hosts in descriptions are loaded directly from those hosts by the viewer's browser and are not stored or reviewed by SunProt Modules.

6. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

You accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy by ticking the confirmation box when creating an account, and again whenever we publish a new version and ask you to accept it. Continued use after signing in is also treated as acceptance. We record the date and version of the Terms you accepted. If you do not accept an updated version, you may sign out and delete your account at any time.

Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or upload content. Users in jurisdictions where the minimum age is higher (certain EU member states require age 16) must comply with their applicable local law. Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent before using this platform.

7. Account Cleanup Policy

• Protected Accounts: Any account that has published a module, submitted a review, or left a comment is permanently exempt from automated deletion.
• Inactive Accounts: Accounts with no public contributions and no active session may be permanently removed during routine maintenance without prior notice.

8. Official Platform Administration

The official founder and administrator of SunProt Modules is Enrique Brach. Official modules are published exclusively through the official account: @enriquebrach. Impersonating platform administration is strictly prohibited.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users shall not upload malware, ransomware, keyloggers, unauthorized exploits, or content that infringes on third-party intellectual property. Uploading or linking images that infringe copyright, trademark, or personality rights is also prohibited. Violations result in immediate content removal and permanent IP/account bans. Accounts that receive repeated valid copyright notices are treated as repeat infringers and terminated.

10. Sponsored Download Links

Module download links may be processed through third-party ad-supported link shorteners (such as shortxlinks.com), which generate commercial revenue for the platform operator. SunProt Modules does not control third-party advertisements displayed on these services. Users are advised to exercise caution and avoid clicking misleading download buttons on external sites.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, where the platform operator is based. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through direct contact before pursuing formal legal proceedings.

12. Modifications

Enrique Brach reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued platform usage following a change constitutes acceptance. The effective date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.

Privacy Policy

13. Data We Collect

When you use SunProt Modules, the following data may be collected and stored:

We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, real names, or payment information.

14. Third-Party Data Processors

Your data may be processed by the following services as part of platform operation:

• Google Firebase Realtime Database — stores all module listings, comments, ratings, and public user profile data. Google Privacy Policy
• Cloudinary — stores profile pictures and module icon images. Cloudinary Privacy Policy
• Cloudflare (Workers and KV) — runs the backend API, stores server-side session records and rate-limit counters, and processes request metadata such as IP addresses. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
• Vercel — hosts the platform web application and may process server request logs. Vercel Privacy Policy
• Google reCAPTCHA — used during registration and login to prevent automated abuse. Google Privacy Policy

15. Local Storage

SunProt Modules uses browser localStorage to store your session token for authentication persistence. No tracking cookies are used. Clearing your browser's local storage will log you out.

16. How We Use Your Data

Collected data is used exclusively to: operate and display the module registry and user profiles; authenticate your account and maintain session state; calculate and display module statistics; and prevent spam, abuse, and unauthorized access. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

17. Data Retention

• Active account data is retained for as long as your account exists.
• Inactive accounts with no public contributions may be deleted during routine cleanup (see Section 7).
• Uploaded images stored on Cloudinary are retained until the associated module or account is deleted, or until you request removal.
• When you delete your account, your profile, published modules, comments, and ratings are permanently removed from the database. Copies held by third-party image hosts are removed on request.

18. Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, server-side session validation, reCAPTCHA for abuse prevention, and restricted CORS policies on backend services. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Your Data Rights

19. GDPR / CCPA Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

We will respond to verified requests within 30 days. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.

20. Age & International Users

If you are under the minimum age in your jurisdiction, please stop using the service and ask a parent or guardian to contact us to remove your data.

Contact & DMCA

21. Content Removal Requests

If you are a copyright holder, software developer, or security researcher and believe content hosted on SunProt Modules infringes your rights or presents a security hazard, please submit a takedown request including:

• Your full name or organization
• A description of the protected work
• The URL of the infringing content
• A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

Valid requests will be reviewed and acted upon within 7 business days. Where an image is the subject of the notice, the image may be removed or replaced while the rest of the module remains online.

Counter-notice: If you believe content was removed in error, contact the same address with your identification, the removed content, and a statement of good faith belief that the removal was a mistake. Restoration may follow after the claimant has had a reasonable period to respond.

Repeat infringers: Accounts that receive multiple valid notices are permanently terminated. Knowingly false notices may expose the sender to liability.

Immediate removal: Administration may remove any image or module without prior notice while a claim is under review.

22. Security Reports

To report a security vulnerability in the SunProt Modules platform, contact Enrique Brach directly via Telegram. Please include a clear description of the vulnerability, steps to reproduce, and your contact information. We commit to acknowledging reports within 48 hours.
