Painful path to profitability I will not promote

My book summary app is finally profitable. When we first started out, I was a young engineer, so there were a lot of bugs in the app. The design was terrible. My co-founder seemed more like an advisor than an individual contributor. We weren't really listening to feedback, and the analytics platform we were using was terrible (bad UI, hard to use, etc).
