Collaborative retreat: New developments in the theory of zeta functions
Edgar Assing, Valentin Blomer, and Farrell Brumley are organizing an event at the Hausdorff Center in Bonn on Jan 11-15 to discuss recent developments regarding the Riemann zeta function and allied functions. From the announcement: “This includes in particular the recently established proof of the quasi Riemann Hypothesis over the rational numbers as well as over general number fields and its manifold consequences, ranging from Artin’s primitive root conjecture and torsion in class groups to equidistribution of periodic torus orbits of higher degree fields.
The target group are early career researchers with an excellent background in analytic number theory. The collaborative retreat will feature lectures by the organizers as well as exercise sessions and projects in small workgroups in the stimulating atmosphere of the Hausdorff Institute.”
