Why are some founders unable to talk straight? (I will not promote)

I recently saw Openwork's founder post on LinkedIn that one of the biggest bottlenecks for them right now is reviewing and validating PRs on their open-source repository, and that there is a potential hiring possibility for someone who is able to assist them and make contributions toward that. He specifically mentioned a Forward Deployed Engineer role and said that the best path would be to "get an intro from a mutual connection." Since I didn't have a connection with any Openwork employee, I thought the be
