Carrie poster concept

I wanted to make this Carrie poster concept which explored vintage style visuals and bold contrast of red and white to show the themes kid violence, rage, blood and the fact that in the new show Carrie White is bullied by an Instagram account called Carrie Red haha. I also wanted to show a nod to the witch trials by having the woman above the flames, also relating back to imagery shown in the new Carrie series when it talks about woman with powers throughout history. Another aspect I wanted to explore was the religious themes in Carrie. I used the ornate frame as it felt very church/cathedral like to me. I also made Carrie have a halo similar to saintly imagery. Let me know what you guys think/ any feedback 😊
