A bioavailable GPX4 inhibitor for ferroptosis induction in vivo and tumor suppression

Selective pharmacological induction of ferroptosis in vivo has remained difficult. By developing the bioavailable GPX4 inhibitor KY0418, this work links systemic ferroptosis induction to tissue metabolic remodeling and demonstrates context-dependent suppression of tumor progression, including metastatic spread.
