Unusable for coding right now: free web chat broken for weeks, and now the API too

Daily-use experience, not a benchmark. The free web chat has been unusable for weeks: sessions hang, answers stop mid-way, endless "thinking", and reloading loses the thread. I kept going back because it costs nothing. Now the API behaves the same way. Requests fail or come back half-done, and anything that needs more than one step turns into manual repair work. For coding I've stopped using it. It does not finish a normal task without me re-doing a good part of it, and I can't tell any more whether a failure comes from the model or from the service around it. Anyone still getting reliable results for actual work — web or API? If yes, what does your setup look like? I'm genuinely curious, because right now it's not usable for me.
