Haze Lah: a Singapore air-quality tracker with a live wind layer and a forecast scored against reality
Singapore has had almost two weeks of haze, so I built a tracker that answers one question: should I go out? hazelah.app Bits that were fun to build: - Wind particles drawn on a canvas over Leaflet from an 850 hPa wind grid, which is roughly the height smoke travels at. - Copernicus CAMS PM2.5 forecast via Open-Meteo, rescaled to the last 48 hours of NEA readings. - Every forecast is archived by GitHub Actions and scored against what NEA later measured. The scores are public. - Share cards for the go/stay answer rendered with next/og. Mobile-first, works on desktop. Feedback welcome. Happy to hear what you’d differently!
