People don’t praise Haiku 5.5 enough

it’s the first time i haven’t hit limits as a free user, even during heavy, long chat sessions. i used to have claude pro mainly so i could study without interruptions and get more usage with sonnet 5/5.5 , but now claude haiku 5.5 dropped and it’s genuinely great for the price. i don’t even feel the need to renew my claude pro subscription anymore because haiku is more than enough for most of what i do. It understands my messy handwriting and notes and just outputs the stuff I should know and doesn’t do the long ass outputs like Gemini/ChatGPT it’s like talking to a fast cheap version of opus 5.5 And the fact that Claude makes it 90% fucking cheaper when you’re under 100k context is actually insane. Like, the value you get for the price is ridiculous, especially when you’re using it for Claude chat and don’t want to constantly worry about hitting limits or burning through your budget. (I start a new session every ~1 hour to stay within the <100k context pricing unless I need it to remember stuff earlier. ) Honestly, being able to use a model this good without feeling forced to pay for a pro subscription is a massive W. I saw many people hating on it on Claude Code, but there’s no praising for it in normal Claude chat.
