Most of us are familiar with the "SWAN" (Sleep Well At Night) acronym meaning we're comfortable with our overall financial plan and risk profile. It's sometimes harder to remember the risk variables, but a convenient sleep related acronym is "YAWN" (Your Ability Willingness & Need) to take risk, as described in the Bogleheads Wiki and elsewhere. Afterall, nothing like a good YAWN before you SWAN!
