I asked Opus 5.5 to build me a replacement interface for wiki.

folio.helikos.dev Inspired by the amazing one-shot demos that were posted recently, I decided to give it a go. I recall flipbook, where there was a never-ending click of a beautifully formed infographics. It took ages to build an image, and i thought perhaps opus's svg skills were the answer! The interface did not change from the initial one-shot - the bulk of my time since was to find a free alternative to good quality svg drawings, and to sort out source crediting! I'm not even sure that I'm doing it right. 😅 Pages are now written by Gemini, the main picture is painted by FLUX.1 [schnell] on Cloudflare Workers AI, and the smaller diagrams are drawn in your browser from short scripts the model writes. If anyone can suggest alternatives to free AI models that do this well it would be really welcome!
