I had a portfolio of multibaggers like Palantir and AppLovin before they exploded. Here's how my selling-too-early misadventure journey led me to build an app.

I built Investing Sherpa after spending numerous years flitting in and out of every kind of stock imaginable, trying to make the quickfire fortune. I occasionally came close, if I'd known what I was actually doing. At various periods I had a portfolio armed with GE Vernova, Rocket Lab, Taiwan Semiconductor, Palantir and AppLovin, all before they went parabolic, and somehow contrived to release them all from my portfolio incarceration period too early, leaving myself with limited profits and thinking if I hadn't had bad luck I'd have had none at all. Turns out luck is handy in the investing world, but obviously not a reliable piece of the wealth generation puzzle. Over time I amassed a little mountain of pocket notebooks highlighting my errors and my what-not-to-dos, in a fairly hostile tongue directed at myself. Mostly declaring rules like: 1: Buy and hold / no sell 2: Don't sell / don't lose money It was at this stage I decided it was give up or wake up time, and that's where my notes started being documented in a bullet-point instruction system, which became a more financially stable and structured investment plan. When I realised the less reckless approach was working, I started to think I needed a more easily accessible system instead of notebook city. So the app was born. It's free on Android and iPhone: investingsherpa.sturamus-vision.com/get Education only, not financial advice.
