tududi 1.7.0: Web Push notifications, skipping a recurring occurrence, linked notes, Postgres support and a security fix

hello fellow self-hosters, tududi is a self-hosted task and notes app (Areas > Projects > Tasks, recurring tasks, notes, habits, CalDAV, MCP) aaand 1.7.0 is out. This post covers everything since 1.6.0, because the 1.6.x releases were mostly shipped quietly. preview.redd.it/odiejehptmth1.png Notifications Web Push for Android, iOS (as a Home Screen app) and desktop. Tasks and Today Skip one occurrence of a recurring task without completing it or breaking the series. The classic Today page is gone. /today_legacy redirects to /today , and the old overview counts and charts moved to Insights → Reports → Overview. Today now shows completed recurring tasks as done, and drops tasks that were moved to a later day. Tasks tagged #today rank first in Plan my day. The calendar switches in Profile now control Today and Plan my day, and calendars stay out of the day plan when the Calendar feature is off. The task actions menu is always visible, and its setting is gone. Notes Clicking a [[link]] to a note that doesn't exist yet offers to create it. Notes can have a background photo. Public note links look nicer and keep working after you edit the note. Checklist items can be ticked straight from task note previews. On phones, notes open in reading mode so you can select and copy text. Tap to edit. Projects and sharing Completed projects are hidden unless the list setting shows them. There's also a shared filter, a per-user "someday" setting and a visible view switch. The share dialog lets you pick a member of the workspace from a list, so you don't have to type an email address. CalDAV, iCal and integrations CalDAV clients now get tasks from shared projects and tasks assigned to you. Appearance Optional photo backgrounds for the content area, with legibility fixes in light mode. Tapping anywhere on a sidebar section header expands or collapses it. Docker, upgrades and security The image is now published to ghcr.io . arm64 images are built natively, and the build fails loudly on a broken npm install , so a half-built image can't ship. Upgrade: docker pull ghcr.io/chrisvel/tududi:1.7.0 and restart. Thank you all for your support!
