In-house D2D sales rep lay offs?

Former employee here. Heard T-Mobile has let go all of their in house fiber d2d reps. Is that company wide or just the Texas region? Employees got an email yesterday morning (10/1) notifying them they were fired. No warning. I was on the team with the smaller fiber company before the Metronet/T-Mobile acquisition then worked for 2 months with T-Mobile and left. Is this an isolated incident or has anyone else heard of layoffs?
