How much do I need to fix the phone?

So I just upgraded using a turn-ypur-old-phone-in promotional. The old phone works but the rear/back case is cracked from a drop. Can I ibreakufix and still get full promotional value of the old phone (iPhone 14), or does old phone need to be fixed by Apple and/or use OEM parts?
