Lararium: Selfhosted OS alternative to Muse/Instinct. Feedback & Ideas
I'm working on a project in my spare time that I've dubbed Lararium(naming follows the Roman theme). It's currently in build phase. It started as a simple AI assistant to replace Googles AI features that I lost when I switched to GrapheneOS(not so much for privacy, but simplicity and minimal bloat.) I host my own LLM and try not to depend on the cloud as much. I started playing around with Muse and then Instinct, and I liked the features, but they are cloud dependent. So I decided that I would try my own twist and have it completely local. You can use cloud hosted models, but the software stack and your data runs local in a docker container. I know this won't be for everyone, but I'm open to any and all feedback and ideas. For now it's completely based on my wants and needs, I'm currently at the features, connections to online services, and features built into the software stack, and I'm wanting to expand the project based on public feedback before I move to the Alpha testing phase. I bought a domain and made a webpage. It's just a basic page. I had Hermes review the project and make a temporary starter page. lararium.io I am using GitHub and it's under the AGPL3.0 license. The repo will go public when Alpha testing starts. Thank you for the time out of your day to read this mumbo-jumbo.
