While several EUropean governments (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Iceland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom) published a joint statement supporting the right to safe, timely and affordable abortion care on International Safe Abortion Day, the French Planned Parenthood (Planning Familial) is posting a concerning study on the increasingly difficult access to abortion in France, for structural reasons linked to the overall degradation of the medical infrastructure as well as ideological actions from healthcare professionals.
