I built an iOS app that turns your Synology Photos into Stories

I've been using Synology Photos for a while, and one feature I've always wanted was something similar to Stories / Memories. So I ended up building it myself. It's called NAS Photos & Stories and connects directly to your Synology NAS. There are no intermediary servers, trackers, or ads. Every day it generates Stories based on photos already stored on your NAS. Currently, there are three types: On This Day — photos taken on this date in previous years. If there aren't enough, it looks within ±3 days. Starring [Name] — picks one person recognized by Synology Photos and creates a Story from their photos around this date in previous years. This requires person recognition to be enabled on the NAS. Album Anniversary — looks for one of your albums whose anniversary falls around today's date and creates a Story from its photos. I also added some logic to avoid showing duplicate or visually similar photos in the same Story. The app is intentionally pretty simple at the moment. You can browse your Synology Photos library, but everything is read-only. The main reason I built it was the Stories feature. Right now it's iOS only. If enough people find it useful, I'd like to make an Android version as well. Story generation is a one-time lifetime purchase rather than a subscription, and the first Story can be generated for free.
