Hi Bogleheads!

I'm working on a story for the AARP magazine on how to adapt to the current inflationary economy.

I wondered if many people have, for example, reduced their number of cars to save money, and if so, if they could share how the math is working. What are the costs associated with this (bus fare, cab/Uber/Lyft charges, etc.)?

I also wondered if any parents have tried persuading their kids to elope or have "micro" weddings? Suggestions for other adjustments are welcome!
