Georgia man buys Apple returns pallet for $6,700 despite it having a MSRP of $38,732 to see if he can make a profit

A Georgia man took a $6,700 gamble on a massive pallet packed with returned Apple products, gaming gear and plenty of random surprises.

The haul had an original Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $38,732, but that number came with a pretty big catch – nobody knew how much of it actually worked.

Returns pallets can contain anything from brand new products to completely broken or incomplete items.

So Harrison Nevel decided to put the entire haul to the test and see whether he could actually turn a profit.

The pallet was packed with Apple products

In fact, he described it as ‘like over a thousand items’.

He quickly discovered that a huge chunk of the haul consisted of Apple accessories, including charging cables, MagSafe chargers, Apple Watch chargers, power adapters and USB-C accessories.

Many of the cables were still brand new in their boxes, while others simply had damaged packaging or signs of use.

He tested several and found that they were working, meaning they could potentially be resold for a fraction of their original retail price.

There were also some much bigger prizes hidden inside, including a MacBook Neo, multiple iPads and a Magic Keyboard.

The MacBook Neo booted up without a password and appeared to be in good condition, with Nevel estimating that he could sell it for around $550.

The biggest surprise was a giant monitor

One of the most exciting discoveries was a 57-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 ultrawide monitor.

The box had been opened, so there was no guarantee the enormous screen would actually work, but Nevel carefully removed it from the pallet and found that the monitor appeared to be in good condition.

He eventually took it home to test it properly and was blown away by the result.

The huge curved display gave him so much workspace that he started considering replacing his existing multi-monitor setup with it.

Of course, not everything in the pallet was a winner.

Some products were broken, missing components or simply too damaged to resell.

There were also toys, video games, gaming accessories and Starlink equipment mixed in with the Apple products.

After testing and pricing the items, the YouTuber calculated that the entire haul was worth around $10,543 based on realistic resale prices.

That meant the $6,700 pallet could potentially leave him with a $3,843 profit – although actually selling more than 1,000 returned items would be a whole different challenge.
