PenEcho gives Codex a spatial workspace
Inspired by what people have been doing with Blender lately, I’ve updated PenEcho to connect directly to agents like Codex, Claude, and Kimi Code through MCP—giving them a spatial workspace to work in . In this workspace, you can sketch your ideas by hand and have AI understand what you mean and turn them into designs. You can also ask AI to draw out system architectures so you can work through problems together, or explore layouts, visual styles, and interactions before committing to code. The idea is to see what the final result will look like before implementation, saving a lot of time on debugging and deployment. The most fun part is that different agents can connect to the same canvas . You can have Kimi 3 design a page, then have Codex implement it—without manually passing things back and forth or coordinating between them. Everything happens naturally on the shared canvas. You can also connect multiple agents to separate canvases through MCP, with each agent working on its own canvas. With one click, you can follow all the agents’ work and watch their progress. And it’s completely free and open source. Website: penecho.ai GitHub: github.com/penecho/penecho
