Here, we’ll discuss some possible improvements to the SimdQuickHeap () (previous post, paper PDF). Most of these came up last week during ESA, after William Kuszmaul gave a keynote on history independent data structures (specifically, layered list labelling ()) and Marvin Williams presented our work.
