Design Challenge: Subtle 'L' to 'V' Lettermark

Hi everyone, I need some suggestions. I'm developing a visual identity and need to find a way to transform an L into a V . Something that subtly references it, perhaps through a symbol or object. The theme involves topics such as mental health, COVID and we will be using collages in the designs. Any suggestions for a creative concept?
