Designers, do your classes or jobs require you to learn/use ai OR have been replacing you with it?

Hello, I am a HS senior who’s wanting to learn ID to get into toy design or product design. I have seen the new Chat GPT ASTRA and the meshy AI on my feed and am worried on the state of designers in general. How has AI affected your work, studies, or Jobs. What do we think about using them in practice or portfolios since it will get more common place?
