Is the goal to keep people in store as long as possible?
I'm new and working for authorized retail. Every interaction takes over an hour, and not just with me. T-Life is part of the problem as is the complicated nature of promos and pricing. IPhone data transfers are the #1 most time consuming thing and I'm told not to do some things that seem like time savers. If a customer calls the store don't tell them to have T-Life ready or to order the phone to be sent to the store. On new phone setup skip setting up esim. transfer via WiFi not USB cable. Do not trust the progress timer. Never choose icloud backup Do not let the customer leave the store regardless how long it takes. Is this standard in all stores? Bits and pieces? I just feel like customers shouldn't have to commit to hours in the store if we can speed up the process. Related to this and any other time consuming processes what are some ways to speed things up?
