Essentials Military 2.0

I am curious if anyone has any specifics on the difference between essentials Military (original) and the essentials Military 2.0? Their comparison tool shows everything is exactly the same. Google search says it's the same, but makes you eligible for the 3 year phone upgrade option where the original does not. Is that the only difference? I don't want any hidden things coming up, or a change in terms that will hit me later down the road, but having the upgrade options on lines might be nice. TIA!
