Avatar renders as blur in offsite link

Currently my avatar is being rendered as a blur in the offsite link provided for use. I'm not sure whether there is a problem with the offsite image generation or if the link has changed and I didn't get the message.

Currently, my avatar renders fine in the menu bar at the top of this page, but in the offsite link I get the following:

I'm not sure how long it has been like this, but I know it was rendering fine a couple weeks ago. I don't look at my homepage that often. The link I was originally given on SO (years ago) to display it was:

Obviously this is low-priority, but since the intent was to provide promotion for SO, it's probably not the best look just to have the avatar in the top-left corner render as a blur. So I felt it's worth reporting at least to make you aware of what I see rather than just deleting it. Since the rest of what is provided in the image appears correct, it looks like the problem is just with the avatar rendering.

I don't know if this may be related to Firefox has busy icon stuck waiting for "Read www.gravatar.com" but I thought I'd include that link as well.
