Startup offered a 4-week paid trial, but the written contract contradicts our verbal agreement. Am I overreacting? (I will not promote)

I just cleared an on-site interview (they flew me out to SF) with a startup, and they asked if I was open to a 4-week paid work trial. I'm currently unemployed and really want this job, so I agreed. On the call, we discussed and agreed upon a specific pay rate for the duration of the month. However, the written contract I received contradicts almost everything we agreed on. Here are the main issues: Pay Cut: The compensation in the contract is about 40% less than the flat fee we verbally agreed upon. (I'm honestly still okay with the lower amount because I need the job, but the bait-and-switch is concerning). No End Date: The completion date is listed as "Until terminated" rather than the strict 4-week timeframe we discussed. One-Sided Exit: The contract allows the company to terminate for any reason with a 10-day notice, but I have no right to terminate for convenience. My only out is if they breach the terms. Endless Revisions: The terms state I have to keep modifying and resubmitting deliverables until they accept them. Because I can't terminate the contract, it reads like I'll be stuck working indefinitely until I deliver to their unquantified "expectation." I want the job, but this reads like a trap. Am I overreacting to standard startup boilerplate legalese, or is this company actively trying to take advantage of my situation?
