In the last decade alone, Edmonton lawyer Robert I. Tennant has been named as a director of 12 charities that have lost their status because of serious violations, including using charity money to invest in his own for-profit businesses.

These revocations automatically make him an “ineligible individual” in the eyes of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) — a designation he first received in 2013.
