GNOME Resources

Yesterday I was trying to track memory usage of some programs I was running, and was using top in Ubuntu. I can never remember how to use commands with top; in any case I found the "help" section. I decided to see if Ubuntu 26.04 has any "Activity Monitor" apps like macOS or Windows.

Much to my surprise I found a great app built into GNOME, GNOME Resources, which is almost exactly like Task Manager or Activity Monitor. It has nice little charts for GPU, CPU, memory, disk usage.

In the future I will likely just use Resources instead of trying to deal with top commands.
