An Industrial Designer's Deconstructed Tape Measures Help Keep Ukraine Free

These unusual tape measures are by Vitaly Fedorchuk, a Kyiv-based industrial designer. They're usable objets d'esign that he created specifically to fund Ukraine's defense efforts.

"All proceeds go to the unit protecting our skies, where my friend serves," he writes. "Each tape measure is handmade from aluminium and stainless steel and carries a unique number."

He sells them through his Instagram, though the most recent batch is sold out.
