Viewing covers

Hi everyone,

I use Jellyfin like most people to catalogue my film collection and have numerous folders with films in.

But I also have lots of blu-rays, dvd's, outside of Jellyfin that I either haven't ripped yet, or don't have the facility to rip such as blu-rays.

Is there a way of having these items in Jellyfin so that I get the cover and film info, but when I click on the cover instead of it starting up and beginning to play, it would then pop up a message to say 'It's in box number 4' or 'It's on the top shelf, under the horror section'. I just love having the facility to search my films or just browse via the cover.

Basically looking for a plugin or other way to either enter in a blank file for each film, or way to import an excel file or something that has all this information in a table and Jellyfin reads the list and imports the covers for them. Then if I try to play the file and it errors, I would know the film information is located on the spreadsheet and I could read it off.

Any ideas, or info from anyone would be greatfully received.
