Comment not rendered [duplicate]

I left a comment (direct link) on this answer to this question.

If I visit the question or answer (i.e. not via the direct link to the comment) the comment is not visible, and there is no indication that it exists.

Shows comment not displayed between previous comment and "Add a comment" link

However if I then click the "Add a comment" link, the comment appears:

Shows comment visible after clicking "Add a comment"

Observed on Firefox on two different machines.

is this known bug?
