Pony AI Inc.’s robotaxi sales reached a quarterly high, now accounting for a third of total revenue, with overseas momentum continuing to accelerate.

Overall sales in the second-quarter climbed 69% to $36.2 million, while robotaxi revenue surged to $12.1 million from $1.5 million, according to a Tuesday filing. The net loss grew to $59.8 million from $53.1 million a year earlier.

“We will continue to advance our full-year plans and are confident in our ability to exceed our full-year robotaxi services revenue target,” Chief Executive Officer James Peng said in the statement.

The company, which raised its robotaxi fleet target in May, said on Tuesday that recent collaboration agreements overseas with companies including Uber Technologies Inc. means it expects its planned and potential overseas deployments to reach more than 4,000 robotaxis.

Earlier, peer WeRide Inc. reported an 82% revenue surge, though concern about a widening loss and unchanged guidance sent its shares lower.
