Laggy, Stuttery Playback Since Upgrading

I upgraded to 10.11.11 last weekend and I have been getting laggy, stuttery playback.

I think part of it is transcoding. Looking at my logs, JF is transcoding almost everything I try to play.

I think this file in particular might be a problem, or there are some settings in my server I need to toggle on to make this play smoothly, but it seems like performance has been really bad across the board since updating. Slow starts when I start playing files, lagging, and sometimes it will just stop playing altogether.

I've changed so many settings that I don't know where to go from here and was hoping someone could help me get on track.

I stream to the Android TV app using the web player as well as my Android phone. The TV seems to have more trouble than the phone.
